Wife In Bondage Death Now Charged With Murder

COLUMBIA, Tenn. - The woman accused in the bizarre bondage death of her husband was in court Tuesday morning.

On Tuesday prosecutors officially upgraded the criminal charge against Rebecca Bargy from reckless homicide to second degree murder. Rebecca pleaded not guilty.

Investigators said Bargy was found dead in his home with his arms and legs strapped behind him and his mouth duct taped shut. Detectives said they believe Rebecca tied James up for sexual pleasure. Police also said that Rebecca was reckless in her actions when she left him alone for 20 hours. James eventually died from suffocation.
