Protest at porn laws in Westminster

Protesters gathered at Westminster on Tuesday to air their outrage at laws to make owning "extreme pornography" illegal.


Handcuffed together, wearing gags, stockings and bondage gear - they'd come to London to make a point.

One of the girls told Newsbeat her name was Dolly Bird and that she liked "extreme" sex.

She said: "Consenting adults should be allowed to do what they like. It's not always about hurting people."

Not far away, Hannah was tied up with rope and carrying a placard with the words "penalise crime not sex".

She told Newsbeat, when it came to violent sex "we're talking about things that people have consented to do for mutual sexual enjoyment".
She added: "It's not about going out stubbing your toe or breaking your leg.

"It's about a sexual situation where you've got an extreme situation mixed with sexual excitement."

All these people are angry because of a proposed new law that would ban extreme sexual images, even if the images are faked and not real.
Bruce likes to take bondage pictures of his girlfriend.

He's worried this proposed new law will turn him into a criminal.
He said: "If we happen to play with a knife and I hold that to her throat, that would be the same category as child pornography.

"Why not ban football? People damage ankles, ligaments, all manner of things but they consent to do that."
