Boy George Opens Bondage Store

Following sensationalized news reports and public speculation that Boy George enjoys regular handcuffing of his sexual partners whether they are willing or otherwise, business associates of the music industry icon have announced that George will be opening a series of bondage retail stores soon.


Simply called "Spank", the high end bondage boutique will feature clothing and toys for those individuals and couples who prefer a little pain to go along with their pleasure. Store general manager Hans Hogtyed says, "We will feature 50 different styles of hand cuffs alone, from basic nickel plated to those lined with Mink or Goose Down. I prefer the ones covered in 24K gold spikes myself. It hurts so good."

Boy George will reportedly play a part in each store's internal marketing campaign as well as influence products sold at the boutique. Along with separate sections for leather or rope products and hand restraints, the boutique will host a men's makeup counter with all of George's favorite colors from hot pink to dark purple. "We even plan to have a demonstration room if customers want to try before they buy. It's most popular with our whip buyers and our sales team seems to enjoy providing that extra level of customer service" says Hogtyed. "Even our retail bags are custom designed with (Spank you very much) printed on front and back".

The first three Spank stores are scheduled for grand opening in March of 2009.
