Tongues were wagging at Paris Fashion Week as Jean Paul Gaultier ended his catwalk show with two models writhing around, fighting, in a pool of mud.


Gaultier’s fall 2009-winter 2010 ready-to-wear was based on the world of fetishism.

Fashion’s wild child sent models down the runway in thigh-high leather boots, black masks and leather hoods.

At the end of the show two models began tearing at each others hair in a shallow pool of mud.

A whip-wielding dominatrix broke the pair up, sending them down the catwalk caked in mud.

“It’s about fetishism, it's about desire, it's about lots of things," Gaultier said of the show.
