USA - Always a supporter of the arts, Lady Gaga served as muse for notable Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki for an issue of Vogue Hommes Japan in 2009. Recently uncovered outtakes from the shoot show off Gaga in all of her bondage-loving glory, with Marilyn Monroe-style blonde ringlets and little clothing to speak of. Tying Mother Monster up is all a part of Araki’s vision, of course. The famed photographer has worked with musicians before, shooting the cover of Bjork’s 1997 album Telegram, and shown collections in both the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and London’s Tate Modern.
