Relief for George Osborne from Miss Whiplash
A 'tell-all' book by Natalie Rowe, the former dominatrix who was once photographed with George Osborne, has been withdrawn from sale.

UK - The memoirs of Natalie Rowe, the former dominatrix who was once photographed with a youthful George Osborne, were expected to be “dynamite,” but over the weekend the much-talked-about book was deprived of a lot of its explosive potential.
Andrew Lownie, the highly respected literary agent who represented Rowe, will say only: “Natalie had asked for the contract she had with the imprint Thistle to be cancelled and the publisher was happy to oblige. I am no longer representing her and the book has been withdrawn from sale.”
Her book, Chief Whip: Memoirs of a Dominatrix, had been serialised by a national newspaper and put on sale on Amazon. In interviews to publicise the book, Rowe, who was once known professionally as “Miss Whiplash,” had named a serving Conservative minister who had allegedly used her services. She also disclosed the identity of an actor, now in his 60s, who was, she asserted, another one of her clients.
For all the publicity that she managed to generate, sales of the ghostwritten book were said to have been “modest.” Last month, an attempt by Rowe to sell photographs of herself with Osborne, which had been taken in the 90s, came to nothing after eBay decided to take them down.
Rowe had hoped to make more than £50,000 from them, but eBay decided that were were not “appropriate” for their marketplace. A spokesman for Osborne assured me at the time that the Chancellor had had nothing to do with the decision.
